Lemoti LLC (“Lemoti,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides accounting, tax, and advisory services to growing businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at lemoti.com, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using our website or contacting us, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly and information collected automatically when you use the site.
Information you provide. When you submit our Finance Review form, book a call, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, website, industry, annual revenue range, number of entities, accounting and payroll systems, whether your books are current, the services you’re interested in, and anything you include in a message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our analytics providers automatically collect certain technical data — such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and general location — using cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and analytics” below).
How we use your information
We use the information to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request;
- Prepare and follow up on a finance review, proposal, or scheduled call;
- Operate, maintain, and improve our website and services;
- Understand how visitors use the site (aggregate analytics); and
- Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site and, if you consent, to measure traffic with Google Analytics (which sets its own cookies and processes data such as your IP address and usage). You can accept or decline analytics cookies through our cookie banner, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; declining will not affect your ability to use the site. Our scheduling page also uses Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam, which is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us operate our business, and only as needed. These include:
- Netlify — website hosting and form submissions;
- Microsoft 365 — our business email;
- Zoom Scheduler — booking calls (with Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection);
- Karbon — our secure client portal, for existing clients;
- Google Analytics — website usage measurement, with your consent;
- Google Fonts — serving the site’s fonts.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Lemoti, our clients, or others. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, provide our services, and meet legal, tax, and accounting record-keeping requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of any “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising — we do not sell your information, and you can decline analytics cookies at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@lemoti.com and we will respond as required by law.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including HTTPS encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party websites and tools (such as LinkedIn, X, or our client portal). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties; please review their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
